Dr. Mark Bishara
Dr. Mark Bishara completed his undergraduate studies in medical biophysics, at the University of Western Ontario and was a gold medal recipient as top graduate of his program. He went on to complete his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry. Since graduating, he practices in the Durham region with a focus on digital workflow, dental implants, bone grafting material regeneration and tissue regeneration. He currently collaborates with members of the Miron Lab in the United States on tissue regeneration utilizing Platelet Rich Fibrin(PRF). He is a published author on PRF , immediate dental implants and clinical applications. He is the President and founder of the Canadian Implant Dentistry Network, Canada’s largest online implant community. He is on the advisory board of Spectrum Implants, the only peer reviewed implant journal in Canada as the Implants Product Review Editor.
Dr. Mark Bishara is an active lecturer with the Toronto Implant Academy on dental implants and is a published author on topics such as PRF treatment and dental implants.
As the owner of West Bowmanville Family Dental, Dr Mark Bishara provides comprehensive implant therapy from start to finish. This allows for all the treatment to be done in one location and provides greater comfort and convenience for our patients.
With appearances on rogers TV and as proud member of the Bowmanville rotary club, Dr Mark looks forward to helping others in the community for years to come with our free dental day initiative hosted twice a year. In his spare time he enjoys playing basketball, painting on canvas and spending time with his wife and daughter Emily and son Jason. Some of his artwork is featured in the office.
